And this is probably also the reason why the gal is in hiding: it has nothing to do with her break up with Ranbir Kapoor. However, at first she wasn’t ready to cut her hair but apparently Adhuna Akhtar, stylist wife of Farhan Akhtar, and director Vijay Lalwani convinced Deepika to go for short tresses.
With this Deepika joins the gang of actresses like Bipasha Basu and also Lara Dutta who have gone for short hair and carried it with élan.
Though Deepika’s parents were amazed by her new look, the rest loved Deepu’s new hair style. If everyone is admiring her, what does she have to say about her own self? Well, she has to fit into the role of a stylish interior designer in the film and admits, “change is good” and why not, when short hair also helps one to look younger.
